TSV Photographer Lands a Photo in the San Mateo Daily Journal

Skyline View photographer Daniel Chee scored a professional point Monday, April 16, when a photo he took ran in the San Mateo Daily Journal. Chee, who took photos at the B-Street Boxing’s 650 Show April 14, emailed the paper’s sports editor to see if he might be interested in any of the pictures. Chee was told one of his photos might run, but didn’t know for sure.
“The next day, early in the morning, I got a copy, flipped it over and saw my picture in there,” Chee said.
Chee plans a career connected to journalism and said it felt “awesome” to be printed in a professional paper.
“For me personally, this is a big step,” he said.
